HFT Canada 3-2-1 Launch!
It is with GREAT pleasure I have the opportunity to announce the recent partnership with Wholesale Sports in support of launching the Canadian leg of the Hunting Film Tour! We are proud to be working alongside Canada’s most respected outdoor retailer, Wholesale Sports, presenting HFT events across Western Canada. The tour is set to kick off in Kamloops, British Columbia February 23, 2015 and will initially target all cities where Wholesale Sports has a retail outlet. There will be 3 legs to the tour including; the West (Kelowna, Kamloops, Langley and Nanaimo), the North (Calgary, Edmonton, Grand Prairie and Prince George) and the East (Saskatoon, Regina and Winnipeg).…
HFT Call for Submissions 2015
Happy New Year from all of us at the Hunting Film Tour! It is that time of year again, we are throwing the invitation out to all of the talented film makers in the industry, novice and professional alike to share your successes and hard work! Submissions are starting to roll in and we are excited to see the awesome quality of productions. Chagrin Falls Rocks the HFT
Cleveland kicked off it’s second HFT event this past September with a solid showing from the crowd and local sponsors. The support for HFT was evident as attendees traveled from all over Cleveland’s East & West sides to join the party that was held at the historic Chagrin Valley Little Theater in Chagrin Falls, OH. On hand was Cleveland’s own outdoor pioneer Joe Kulis of “Outdoor World of Kastaway Kulis” who kicked off the event and introduced the short films. A great evening was enjoyed by all and positive vibes keep flowing, fueling the stoke heading into the Whitetail woods!…
BHA & Steven Rinella Rock Ketchum
With opening day of archery antelope season less than 48 hours away, the energy was palpable as conservation group, Backcountry Hunters & Anglers (BHA) hosted an independent Hunting Film Tour event in Ketchum ID on August 13th at Whiskey Jacques. The night was co-hosted by author and TV personality Steven Rinella of Meat Eater TV and BHA Executive Director Land Tawney. Approximately 150-175 enthusiastic sportsmen packed the indoor/outdoor venue and enjoyed beer from Big Sky Brewing and freshly grilled burgers. Over $5,000 of incredible gear from BHA sponsors and local supporters was awarded in fundraising raffles and auctions.…

As we are rocking through Year 2 of the Hunting Film Tour I couldn’t be more proud to be representing the world class brands that have partnered with us. I have no doubt in my mind that the companies that have rallied around our cause and chosen to support bringing you the coolest Hunting Films in the industry are the best of the best. Case in point, I want to share one of our recent experiences with the Kimber team. The Bozeman Experience
HFT 2014 kicked off in fine fashion, premiering to a packed house August 1st in the hometown of Sitka Gear and Kenetrek boots headquarters, Bozeman Montana! With much anticipation we made the 8 hour trek south and true to the hospitality and reception experienced in our 2013 rookie year, the Bozeman hunting community was out in full force, raising the roof at the Emerson.
